Aaron Grogg speeds up the web. He specializes in untangling complex performance issues, focusing on everything from tightening Time to First Byte to stabilizing Cumulative Layout Shifts.

He started coding in 1998 out of necessity while managing a San Francisco hotel, learning from a borrowed HTML book. Today, he teaches high-performance web engineering, showing developers how to combine active diagnostics, real user monitoring, and AI-assisted workflows to catch bottlenecks before they hit production.

Based in Oroville, California, you can usually find him hiking, gardening, or biking when he's away from the keyboard.
