## About

Adele builds systems for the educational sector at Trifork Amsterdam. She spends her days navigating the JVM, Spring, and React ecosystems, often acting as a technical advisor for clients.

On stage, she explores language design with a sharp sense of humor. Her talks take a critical look at why Java can be infuriating, breaking down early choices like checked exceptions and generics—and how they shaped languages like C#.

When she steps away from the keyboard, she trains as a competitive powerlifter.
