# Alex Goldman
Developer Educator at Twilio building AI-native, gamified learning experiences.

## About

Alex Goldman builds developer education experiences at Twilio. With a background in robotics and artificial intelligence, he designs open-ended playgrounds that replace traditional coding tutorials with engaging challenges.

His work on TwilioWorld trades sterile sandboxes for live production environments. In his talk on [teaching APIs beyond the docs](/videos/1899-teaching-apis-beyond-the-docs-alex-goldman), Alex explains why engineers learn best by debugging real systems instead of following static guides.

Based in Denver, Alex is a former startup founder and an actual Robot Scuba Instructor. When he's not hiding puzzles in Twilio campaigns, he's doing improv or chasing his toddlers.
