# Alfonso Sandoval Rosas
Developer Advocate at Cisco building safe AI agents and automation for network infrastructure.

## About

Alfonso "Poncho" Sandoval Rosas is a Senior Developer Advocate at Cisco Systems. He focuses on network automation, orchestration, and DevOps, building practical tools for infrastructure teams.

Much of his work centers on safely bringing AI into enterprise networking. He designs agentic systems and MCP servers that automate operational tasks while strictly enforcing human-in-the-loop guardrails—ensuring infrastructure automation never causes a Friday-night outage.

Based in Portugal, Alfonso spends his time outside of networking teaching university masterclasses and running hands-on coding workshops.
