Andreas Taranetz builds maintainable software and writes clear documentation at Dynatrace. Stepping beyond conventional frontend and backend boundaries, he looks at software architecture holistically to ensure both systems and teams are structured well.

His work focuses heavily on sustainable performance and API design. He advocates for using OpenAPI contracts to safely decouple fast-moving engineering teams, alongside practical methods for stripping away unnecessary network requests. He refined these low-bandwidth techniques during his master's degree while rewriting Austria's top voting advice application to work entirely offline on the Viennese subway.
