## About

Andrey Abramov builds database kernel internals and production search engines. As the founder and CTO of SereneDB, he focuses on real-time analytical search and OLAP architectures written in C++.

He previously designed ArangoSearch, embedding a native search engine directly into ArangoDB. Today, his focus is the mechanics of Search-OLAP for AI applications. He explores how to merge semantic search with statistical reasoning, helping developers build RAG systems that analyze context instead of just retrieving documents.
