## About

Anja Kunkel builds full-stack systems and studies the human dynamics behind software engineering at Enpal. Based in Berlin, she skips the buzzwords to focus on how organizations actually function, arguing that soft skills are the hardest ones to master.

Her talks explore the psychology of how developers engage with legacy systems. She breaks down the cognitive biases that make engineers hate reading old code and wrongly assume that rewriting it is always the better option.

Off screen, Anja stays active on the water as a local champion in wakeskating.
