## About

Annika von Mutius builds systems to make recruiting more human. As Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Empion, she develops automated headhunting tools that match candidates and companies based on shared values and skills.

Before Empion, she worked at a Silicon Valley robotics startup and earned her mathematics PhD focusing on individualization models. She was recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe technology list.

Her talks break down how algorithms can fix broken hiring processes. She speaks about using AI to prioritize cultural fit, boost employee retention, and run discrimination-free selection systems.
