## About

Annika Opitz shapes the Kubernetes platform experience at STACKIT. She focuses on creating flexible internal developer platforms that let teams own their distributions, rather than forcing them into rigid, centralized systems.

While scaling infrastructure for a major retailer, she helped architect Kubera to manage 15,000 edge locations. In her talk on building adaptable platforms, she breaks down how her team pushed Argo CD to its limits and integrated Sveltos to handle massive cluster fleets. She treats open-source tools like consumer products, right down to designing logos developers actually want on their laptops.
