April Yoho scales modern software practices as a developer advocate at GitHub. She focuses on application transformation, helping engineering teams adopt code-first DevOps workflows that actually survive in production.

Her current work tackles the reality of AI agents in developer tooling. Rather than relying on massive prompts, she explores how context selection and precise tool orchestration create more reliable, cost-effective workflows.

When she steps away from the keyboard, April is usually outdoors. She hikes, scuba dives, and competes in Ironman triathlons.
