At Tessl, he focuses on context engineering and spends time explaining why vibecoding doesn't scale. Before this, he built the developer relations team at JFrog from a ten-person startup through its IPO. He has a habit of being early to tech shifts—working with Java before generics, and doing DevOps before Docker existed. Baruch also co-authored *Liquid Software* and *DevOps Tools for Java Developers*, and is recognized as a Java Champion. ## Upcoming Sessions ### World Congress 2026 North America · September 23, 2026 San José, CA - [RoboCoders: Judgment Day: AI-Assisted Engineering Applied - The Battle of Agents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/events/world-congress-2026-north-america/sessions/1697-robocoders-judgment) ## Links - [X](http://twitter.com/jbaruch) - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jbaruch/)
