Ben Hutchison helps teams build secure software at Oplane. He focuses on making sure security practices can keep pace with modern development workflows. Ben spent over a decade advising organizations on their secure software programs, drawing on his background as an ethical hacker, penetration tester, and application security strategist.

He co-authored multiple BSIMM annual reports and the P-SSCRM framework. Lately, Ben tackles the security challenges of AI-generated code. His work explores how automated threat modeling helps developers evaluate architecture and safely trust code written by AI agents.
