Carey Liu works on product security at TikTok. He focuses on AI-enabled operations, building tools that make security scalable, actionable, and developer-friendly.

He is part of the team behind SEVA, an AI-assisted validation platform that introduces security checks during initial design reviews. By shifting security left, Carey helps engineering teams move faster and catch vulnerabilities before any code is actually written.

He studied computer science at the University of British Columbia and holds a master's in information security from UC Berkeley.
