Carsten Windler builds software that fights climate change. With two decades of engineering behind him, he works as a Principal Engineer at Plan A in Berlin.

He frequently speaks about Green Coding and the environmental impact of tech. His talks explore why developers should focus on their carbon handprint rather than just spending hours optimizing code for minor efficiency gains.

When he isn't working on climate tech, Carsten teaches on LinkedIn Learning and has authored a book on clean code in PHP.
