## About

Christian Wermke reports from Rome as an Italy correspondent for Germany's financial daily *Handelsblatt*. Beyond traditional journalism, he builds Web3 communities, launching Europe’s first newspaper-driven NFT initiative.

He focuses on turning traditional readers into digital asset holders. By introducing community NFTs, AI art drops, and member meetups, he guides a 1946 heritage publication into new territory.

Outside the newsroom, he founded the digital art platform VistaVagabond to explore Web3 creativity firsthand.
