## About

Dan Tao leads the engineering teams behind Atlassian's developer tools. He focuses on building better workflows for engineers, guiding products like Bitbucket Cloud, Compass, and Jira's Open DevOps.

Before Atlassian, he spent time building software at Google, ThoughtWorks, and various startups. He knows how to handle complex infrastructure and recently steered Bitbucket’s migration from local data centers to AWS.
