## About

Daniel Savenkov builds AI code completion systems at JetBrains. He focuses on bringing code generation directly to developers' machines, removing the need for cloud infrastructure.

Before tackling local AI, Daniel built recommender systems for Yandex, VK, and MTS. He got his start in machine learning through Kaggle, twice placing in the top 1% of major competitions.

His talks explore the realities of shipping local AI tools. He breaks down the mechanics behind code completion, from prompt construction and suggestion filtering to the ongoing push for efficient model inference.
