## About

Daniel Seybold builds tools to evaluate cloud databases as the co-founder of benchANT. He focuses on product development and running large-scale benchmarking projects that expose how distributed systems actually perform in production.

With a PhD in cloud computing, Daniel digs into the hidden mechanics of managed databases. He tackles why identical database specs often yield vastly different results, bringing clarity to hidden factors like storage IO limits, burst credits, and instance throttling.
