David Leconte helps engineering teams operationalize generative AI at DataStax. After writing code and optimizing applications for two decades, he now focuses on the practical mechanics of vector search and large language models.

He regularly teaches developers how to build their own Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbots from the ground up. Using tools like Langflow and Astra DB, David shows teams how to move quickly from abstract AI concepts to rapidly deployed applications.
