## About

Derric Gilling builds tools that help enterprises turn their APIs into actual products. He founded Moesif to solve API analytics and monetization before bringing the platform over to WSO2, where he runs the API business unit.

He focuses on using data to deliver better API value. He frequently speaks about API strategy and authored the O’Reilly report *API Strategy for Decision Makers*. More recently, his talks cover how businesses can govern and optimize the cost and consumption of AI APIs.
