## About

Des Traynor directs product strategy and R&D for Fin (formerly Intercom). As a co-founder, he helped scale the platform and changed how companies talk to their users.

His recent work tackles how artificial intelligence fundamentally alters software development. Instead of bolting on new features, Des breaks down why building AI products requires scrapping traditional roadmaps and operating like a fast-paced research lab.

Before building tech companies, he researched and taught computer science. Today, he backs other teams as an investor in companies like Stripe, Notion, and Miro.
