Erran Berger builds the platforms that power LinkedIn. As CTO of Engineering, he directs the technology strategy and global team behind a professional network of over 1.3 billion members.

Over his 17 years at the company, Erran has integrated applied AI into everyday features. His work involves optimizing the entire technology stack, from application layers down to GPU kernels, to deliver smarter recommendations and agentic experiences.

Based in the Bay Area, Erran serves on the boards of JVS and Year Up.
