## About

Evert Diaz helps developers transition into Web3. At the Algorand Foundation, he creates content and resources that make decentralized app development accessible for traditional software engineers.

Before moving into the blockchain space, Evert spent eight years as a fullstack JavaScript and Python developer. Today, he teaches builders how to write functional smart contracts and deploy real-world blockchain applications using native Python.

Prior to his work in developer relations, he founded Starter, a Latin American software agency focused on agile startups.
