# Fabiano Amorim
Database consultant tuning SQL Server performance and exposing cloud security flaws.

## About

Fabiano Amorim breaks and repairs Microsoft Data Platforms. As a database consultant, he tracks down performance bottlenecks and exploits security vulnerabilities across managed SQL environments.

His recent security research uncovered privilege escalation paths on Azure, AWS, GCP, and Alibaba. He successfully turned a local research project into full sysadmin access across the four biggest cloud databases.

Beyond his day job at Pythian, Fabiano is a long-standing Microsoft MVP. He regularly writes about database mechanics on Simple-Talk and his personal blog.
