## About

Florian Habermann builds Java development tools and serves as CTO at MicroStream. Over two decades, he has focused on Java IDEs and database utilities, creating the XDEV and RapidClipse IDEs alongside GUI builders for AWT, Swing, FX, and Vaadin.

Currently, Florian leads open-source projects including JPA-SQL, EclipseStore, and Eclipse Serializer. His work centers on ultra-fast in-memory data processing for microservices and cloud-native apps. He regularly speaks about replacing slow database queries with microsecond in-memory operations to slash infrastructure costs.
