Gala Dvoretskaya leads observability experience at Dynatrace. She focuses on making developer tools fade into the background, stripping away complexity so engineers can focus on real problems. Before her current role, she founded a venture-backed startup and led global product teams.

Lately, she spends her time looking at how interfaces perform when used by both human developers and AI agents. Her recent work involves rebuilding open-source CLIs with zero-config defaults and structured outputs—designing systems that work equally well for a person at a terminal and models like GitHub Copilot.
