# Giampaolo Casolla
Building production machine learning features and AI discovery agents at GetYourGuide.

## About

Giampaolo builds machine learning systems that run at scale for GetYourGuide. Based in Berlin, he focuses on turning open-ended travel requests into practical itineraries.

He specializes in moving AI features from prototype to production, recently sharing how his team built a natural-language AI agent that handles complex user constraints. Previously at Amazon, he built anomaly detection and forecasting models.

When he isn't racking up citations for his applied mathematics research, he serves as the chair of the PyData Berlin Video Committee.
