# Guy Korland

## About

Guy Korland builds database systems for AI knowledge retrieval. He currently runs FalkorDB, a company he co-founded to represent knowledge as interconnected nodes for large language models. Before building his own startup, he led innovation and incubation teams at Redis.

His engineering work focuses on solving the factual accuracy problems of multi-hop reasoning in AI. Guy breaks down the reality of building complex NLP systems, from tackling GraphRAG architecture to scaling question-answering setups. He holds a PhD in computer science from Tel Aviv University.
