## About

James Everingham builds tools for a new era of software engineering. At Guild.ai, he is creating a control plane where developers and AI agents can build and evolve code together.

Over a four-decade career, James has run engineering for several major platforms. He led Meta's developer infrastructure—shipping the company's first internal AI agent—and previously headed up engineering at Instagram and the flagship Netscape browser. His recent work focuses on how AI breaks traditional security assumptions and why teams need to rethink their architecture from the ground up.
