# Jannis Eickenroth
Builds modern data and AI infrastructure for Germany's largest banking platform.

## About

Jannis builds the data and analytics foundation for Germany's largest banking network. At Finanz Informatik, he manages the transition from legacy mainframes to modern data platforms serving 50 million Sparkasse customers. He started his career writing both COBOL and Java.

His work aims to turn fragmented enterprise data into a reliable core for analytics and AI. He regularly covers modernizing monolithic applications, scaling customer journey analytics, and engineering knowledge layers for agentic AI in regulated environments.

Away from banking infrastructure, Jannis rides mountain bikes and works as a lifeguard and swimming instructor.
