Jasmit Kaur Saluja builds large-scale distributed systems at Meta. She creates reliable infrastructure that scales to billions of users.

She is known for designing the Facebook Ordered Queueing Service (FOQS), a disaster-ready priority queue that processes roughly one trillion items daily. She recently detailed how this system evolved into a foundational layer for AI workloads, handling everything from Llama serving to GenAI image generation.

She currently builds Meta's Functions-as-a-Service infrastructure. Previously, she managed serverless engineering teams and co-authored research on maximizing network file system performance.
