# Javier Garza
Security advocate at Snyk helping developers build safe AI agents and master web protocols.

## About

Javier Garza helps developers build secure software as a Staff Developer Advocate at Snyk. He tackles web performance and AI vulnerabilities head-on, and he co-authored the O’Reilly book *Learning HTTP/2*.

Much of his recent work targets the security of agentic applications and shadow AI. He hosts the Bay Area chapter of AI Security Engineers and runs technical workshops on AI penetration testing and policy as code.

When he steps away from his keyboard, you can usually find him pushing through a tough workout or volunteering for local nonprofits.
