Jens Happe leads software engineering at Chrono24, a watch marketplace serving over nine million active users. He previously built a performance engineering team at SAP to help developers create highly scalable applications, and holds a PhD in software engineering.

He focuses on the organizational and technical friction that hits fast-growing tech companies. Rather than relying on heavy agile frameworks, his work explores alternative structures like Team Topologies to keep scaling fast and user-centric. Jens also founded Sparkteams, a consultancy helping tech organizations untangle their software development processes.
