# Joe Moura
Building autonomous multi-agent systems as the founder and CEO of crewAI.

## About

Joe Moura builds autonomous systems at crewAI. He focuses on moving AI from static prompts to operational execution, creating agents that handle reasoning, memory, and tool integration.

Before starting crewAI, he directed AI engineering at Clearbit and built large-scale vector databases. He has spent two decades in software engineering, leading technical teams at Toptal and Packlane.

When he is not focused on multi-agent architecture, Joe has explored hardware—once designing a smart collar for dogs through his IoT startup, Urdog.
