Joe Polny makes blockchain development faster and more approachable. At the Algorand Foundation, he focuses on improving the core developer experience for anyone building on the network.

He is a frequent open-source contributor, maintaining tooling for Python, JavaScript, and Go. Much of his focus goes toward showing software engineers how to transition into Web3—including how to build, test, and deploy fully functional smart contracts using standard TypeScript.
