Researches games and VR at LMU Munich and TU Graz. She studies how play shapes the future of tech.

## About

Johanna Pirker studies how games, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence solve real-world problems. She leads Game Lab Graz and teaches as a professor at both LMU Munich and TU Graz.

She treats game development as a design methodology rather than just entertainment. Her talks explore the evolving role of AI in game creation—from procedural generation to intelligent enemy behavior—and why the principles of play are essential for building better digital interaction.
