## About

Jose Manuel Ortega builds software and researches cybersecurity. He focuses on finding and fixing vulnerabilities in data pipelines, frequently working with Python, big data, and blockchain projects.

His research tackles the security risks of artificial intelligence models. He analyzes how AI applications interact with external tools, most notably breaking down configuration flaws and payload validation issues in his analysis of the OWASP MCP Top 10.

When he isn't hunting for security threats, Jose teaches university courses and collaborates with the official college of computer engineers.
