# Joseph Katsioloudes
Security advocate at GitHub teaching developers how to secure open source and AI.

## About

Joseph Katsioloudes builds security software and educational content at GitHub. Working with the GitHub Security Lab, he helps engineers defend the open-source infrastructure we all depend on.

He cares about making security practical rather than theoretical. To give developers a hands-on way to learn core concepts, he built the open-source game gh.io/scg. His recent workshops dive into the realities of LLM security, teaching participants how to handle non-deterministic model behavior and prevent prompt injection attacks.

Alongside his interactive workshops, Joseph creates security videos that have reached millions of developers.
