## About

Kelsey Hightower spent years shaping cloud infrastructure at Google. Today, he writes, invests, and contributes to open source. He strongly believes developers need to understand computing fundamentals, even when AI can do the heavy lifting.

His work focuses on pragmatic engineering and system efficiency. In his recent talk on Zero Token Architecture, Kelsey pushes back against the trend of treating high compute usage as productivity, arguing instead for simpler, sustainable design.

He currently describes his primary role as a minimalist taking time to figure out what comes next.
