Khaja Omer builds managed Kubernetes platform infrastructure at Akamai. His daily work involves maintaining cloud-controller-managers, CSI drivers, and Karpenter-related autoscaling tools.

Lately, he focuses on Kubernetes infrastructure for AI inference. He tackles GPU startup paths, model serving, and cost-aware scaling, teaching developers how to run production AI agents on dedicated GPUs without relying on external providers.

Outside of work, Khaja keeps experimenting with model inference on his personal GPU hardware and home Kubernetes clusters.
