# Kirah Sapong
Co-founder at Aquaduck AI focused on edge systems and local inference

## About

Kirah Sapong builds edge AI systems. At Aquaduck AI, she focuses on inference optimization and making on-device models practical for developers. She previously worked on AI platforms and infrastructure at Together AI, and built developer tools at Block.

Her work explores the shift toward local AI, helping engineers combine open-weight models with cloud architectures. She studies the trade-offs of local inference, from hardware constraints to AI sovereignty.

When she isn't building her startup, Kirah is pursuing a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pennsylvania.
