# Klaus Fiala
Editor-in-Chief at Forbes Swiss tracking how emerging technology reshapes business and finance.

## About

Klaus Fiala directs editorial strategy as the Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Swiss. He studied economics in Vienna and Madrid before joining Forbes Austria in 2015, eventually stepping up to run the Swiss publication in 2024.

His work tracks how automation impacts traditional business models and strictly regulated markets. He regularly digs into the realities of the modern economy—his panel on [AI, agents, and trust](/videos/100002-the-new-financial-stack-ai-agents-and-trust) broke down how banking institutions balance the unpredictability of large language models with strict compliance needs.

He lives in Zurich.
