# Kris Jenkins
Lead Developer Advocate at Snowflake making AI agents understand databases.

## About

Kris Jenkins is a lead developer advocate at Snowflake and the host of the Developer Voices podcast. A lifelong programmer, he spends his time exploring programming languages and testing software architectures.

His career spans everything from writing Haskell code to acting as the CTO of a gold-trading company. Right now, he focuses on the gap between coding agents and messy real-world schemas, exploring how semantic models teach AI what databases actually mean.

Out of the office, he is a regular hackathon organizer who just loves to build stuff.
