Laura Wissiak researches and designs assistive technology, focusing on everyday barriers for people with low vision. She spends her days interviewing users to understand how they navigate both physical spaces and digital interfaces.

Her work bridges the gap between tactile environments and web code. Exploring everything from braille keyboards and bad urban planning to screen reader flows, she helps teams see that blindness is a spectrum—and that inclusive design requires moving beyond one-size-fits-all checklists.
