## About

Lee Faus is rebuilding version control for the era of AI-generated code. As the founder of Atomic, he creates infrastructure for agent-driven development. After two decades working at Red Hat, GitHub, and GitLab, he realized Git simply wasn't designed for machine-rate commits.

His work focuses on navigating the shift toward AI-native engineering. In his talk [AI Killed DevOps... What Now?](/videos/1759-ai-killed-devops-what-now-lee-faus), Lee explains why AI agents are disrupting traditional workflows. He argues that as models write more boilerplate, the future of human engineering lies in rigorous code review and system architecture rather than pure creation.
