# Loris Degioanni

## About

Loris Degioanni builds tools that help developers secure modern systems. As the founder and CTO of Sysdig, he created both the sysdig open-source tool and Falco, the CNCF runtime security project. Before that, he was a core contributor to Wireshark.

He holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering and focuses on the shift toward autonomous defense. His recent work explores headless security, arguing that cybersecurity tools must abandon human-centric dashboards and instead be built as APIs for AI agents to execute at machine speed.
