# Lukas Alber
Runs the industrial IoT platform at Austrian Post to automate large-scale logistics operations.

## About

Lukas Alber builds systems that drive logistics automation at Austrian Post. He runs their Kubernetes-based industrial IoT platform, turning massive daily parcel volumes into reliable physical operations. His work bridges software and hardware, ensuring automated vehicles safely navigate busy warehouse floors.

Before tackling supply chains, Lukas deployed machine learning models for the financial sector. His talk on [using AI to detect money laundering](/videos/111-detecting-money-laundering-with-ai) shows how anomaly detection outperforms rigid rule engines.

He originally studied computational physics in Stockholm, building a Python-based differential equation solver, and is now based in Vienna.
