## About

Lutz Huehnken is an independent consultant and fractional CTO who aligns software architecture with organizational design. He focuses on building highly available, event-driven systems using strategic domain-driven design.

Previously, Lutz served as Head of Engineering at the Berlin fintech Upvest. His background spans a wide range of domains—he has led teams building software for everything from container shipping and retail to cruise ship entertainment systems.

He frequently teaches hands-on workshops on event-driven microservices, where he breaks down complex patterns like message design, observability, and asynchronous communication.
