# Malte Ubl
CTO of Vercel building frontend infrastructure and developer tools.

## About

Malte Ubl builds developer tools as the CTO of Vercel. Before that, he spent time at Google, where he led engineering for search on desktop and tablets and designed the frontend infrastructure behind their core web apps.

He focuses on the architecture and protocols that help developers ship faster. His work explores the mechanics of AI integration and user interaction, breaking down the protocols and trust boundaries that define the agent interface layer.

Outside of his engineering work, he brings the JavaScript community together as the founder and curator of JSConf EU.
