# Manuel de la Peña
Staff Software Engineer at Docker focused on open-source tooling and test automation.

## About

Manuel de la Peña works as a Staff Software Engineer at Docker. Based on the Clients & SDKs team, he maintains Testcontainers for Go and builds test automation infrastructure. His recent focus is on creating safe local development environments—specifically how to run coding agents inside isolated sandboxes.

Before Docker acquired AtomicJar, he spent years improving engineering productivity at Elastic and Liferay. Away from the keyboard, Manuel organizes the Google Developers Group in Toledo, Spain, growing a local tech community outside of Madrid.
